What is Esports World Federation?
Esports World Federation (ESWF) is a duly registered non-stock non-profit organization that aims to promote and develop electronic sports as a recognized and accepted form of competition on a global scale. ESWF aims to accomplish this by incorporating the disciplines of traditional sports and its current systems to esports.
We seek to become the leading and lasting federation for electronic sports industry in the World. In the undeniably clustered field of gaming and niche hobbies, our mission is to unite the globe by providing passionate social and digital tribes and communities a united front to connect, meet, celebrate, and discover. This is done on ventures of creating venues such as sanctioned leagues, global tournaments, esports arenas, high-end gaming hubs, digital streams, online communities and events beyond both of which are regular and massive. With our community centric approach, we aim to bring countries, brands, and our partners towards a lasting relationship with the average fan, hobbyist and most importantly the gamer within.
To show that there is something more connecting and personal to the things a gamer has always been passionate about, that is the mission of Esports World Federation.
We believe in the core human foundation of being better. With such foundation, we agree that our generation’s pursuit of technology will never stop. We will innovate and we will develop to decrease our limitations one way or another. And with this, such pursuit of technology also shapes and develops our perception of connecting, of entertainment, and of competition. This is why we see electronic sports as more than just being a global phenomenon but as a direction. We see a future that we will be leaving our screens the same way we left our traditional mediums barred with the restriction of distance and time. We see a future where competitions can be taken to imaginary settings, using heroes and champions with capabilities and mechanics one cannot even imagine possible in the real world. And we want to see this transition happen in the World with the correct understanding, delivery, and appreciation. Starting from the very positive gamer who believes down to the eyes of an onlooker who has seen electronic sports for the very first time.
A future where there is culture of appreciation for digital competitions and an established and unified World ready for its global audience and partners in the field of electronic sports entertainment. This is the vision of the Esports World Federation.
